Welcome to Hillel Academy
Welcome to the web site of the Hillel Academy of Tampa. We are a private Jewish Community Day School in the Tampa Bay area, accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and the Florida Kindergarten Council, and a member of the Jewish Community Day School Network. At Hillel we embrace all of the wonderfully diverse aspects of the rich culture and traditions of Judaism. Our students receive a superior education enhanced by the opportunity to learn a second language beginning in Transitional Kindergarten, with a third language introduced in middle school.

Hillel Academy of Tampa is proud to be a Blue Ribbon School.
“Before we joined Hillel we were debating between public school and private school education for our twins. The first private school we looked at was Hillel and we felt we did not need to look further. We discussed a number of private schools…” To read this and other Hillel families’ stories, click here
The Blue Ribbon Award was granted to Hillel for being in the top 10% of the nation based on standardized tests. It is considered the highest academic award granted by the US Department of Education.
