Amy Wasser

Amy Wasser joined the staff of Hillel in 1996.  Having served as a faculty member, head of the Judaics department, and the middle school director, she became the Head of School in 2004.  Amy completed two courses of undergraduate studies, receiving Bachelors degrees from both Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary.  In addition, the Jewish Theological Seminary awarded her Masters in Jewish Education. A graduate of a Jewish Day School, working with children and helping to instill in them a love of Judaism has always been at the forefront of her work. A past director of USY on Wheels and a staff member at Camp Ramah Darom since 1996, Amy continues to bring her unique mix of formal and informal educational skills to the enhancement of the Hillel Academy.  Her three children are all alumni of Hillel.
