Theatre Program
At Hillel Academy, our Theatre Program is a vibrant and transformative experience where students in 3rd through 8th grade are inspired to explore their creativity, build confidence, and grow through collaboration. Guided by dedicated instructors, the program ignites a passion for the performing arts while helping students discover their unique voices.
Beyond the Spotlight
Students also have the opportunity to shine off-stage. Our technical crew contains essential roles such as lights, sound, set creation, stage management, and more. These technical theatre skills teach valuable life lessons such as teamwork, problem-solving, and effective communication. Working behind the scenes not only deepens students’ understanding of the production process but also allows them to develop analytical skills that will serve them in any future endeavor.
Through this program, students develop not only their creativity and confidence but also invaluable teamwork skills. The Hillel Theatre Program fosters a supportive, inspiring community, shaping well-rounded individuals who carry their lessons far beyond the theatre.
Introduction to Musical Theatre
From the youngest performers to the more seasoned, our theatre program provides a space for students of all ages to learn and thrive.
Hillel Academy’s Introduction to Musical Theatre program for students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade is a fun and engaging way for young learners to explore the world of performing arts. Through music, movement, and creative expression, students will discover the basics of acting, singing, and dancing, while developing confidence and building teamwork skills.
