Strong foundations during your child's early years are essential for building the skills, confidence, and love of learning that pave the way for lifelong success.

Kindergarten at Hillel Academy is a year of discovery where students learn through hands-on, experiential activities that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning. In reading and writing, children explore letters, sounds, and words by engaging in interactive storytelling, phonics games, and creative writing projects.

Math concepts come to life as students use every day items to identify and manipulate numbers to build fluency, while solving real-world problems.

The Smithsonian Science curriculum encourages young learners to investigate their world through observation, experimentation, and exploration of topics like plants, animals, and weather.

Social studies lessons are enriched with role-playing, storytelling, and celebrations of community and cultural traditions. Each day begins with a morning routine, nurturing a sense of belonging and fostering the development of essential social-emotional skills like teamwork and problem-solving.

This experiential approach ensures that learning in kindergarten is not only engaging but also deeply meaningful, setting the foundation for academic success and personal growth.
