Tuition

At Hillel Academy, we believe every child deserves a learning environment where they feel known, supported, and inspired to grow.

Our approach to tuition is rooted in our values, aiming to ensure that a Jewish education is within reach for families from various financial backgrounds. Tuition helps sustain the exceptional educational experience that defines Hillel Academy, including dedicated educators, engaging academics, Jewish values, Israel education, enrichment opportunities, and a strong sense of community.

We understand that the decision to invest in Hillel Academy is significant for all families. Your investment supports a whole-child education that nurtures each student academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually while helping them build confidence, character, and a meaningful Jewish identity that fosters growth in and out of the classroom.

The admissions office is here to answer any questions about tuition and affordability. Reach us at admissions@hillelacademytampa.com.

We invite you to continue reading below to view our tuition and fee documents and explore the resources available to help your family plan for a Hillel Academy education.

Step Up For Students:

Step Up For Students empowers families to pursue and engage in the most appropriate learning options for their children.

Step Up for Students scholarships include:

  • Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES-EO) is available to any Florida student wanting to attend a private school, regardless of income

  • Unique Abilities Scholarship (FES-UA) is available to students with a documented disability

Florida Scholarship Opportunities

The State of Florida offers a variety of scholarships subsidizing the cost of private school education. It is important for families who receive these scholarships to understand that they subsidize the cost of a Hillel Academy education, and they DO NOT replace the cost of a Hillel Academy education.

Families who receive Florida State private school scholarships are responsible for the balance of the tuition. If the balance continues to be out of reach, families may still participate in the Variable Tuition (VT) programs.

Families who receive Florida State private school scholarships also understand that it does not guarantee acceptance to Hillel Academy. Every child participates in the admissions process and will have acceptance determined once it is completed.

Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK): This Florida scholarship is available for any prekindergarten student who will turn 4 years old on or before September 1st. If their fourth birthday falls Feb. 2 through Sept. 1 in a calendar year, parents can postpone enrolling their child in VPK that year and wait until the following year when their child is 5.
