Capital Giving at Hillel Academy

Capital gifts play a crucial role in supporting the growth and sustainability of Hillel Academy. These donations can be unrestricted or designated by the donor for specific programs, initiatives, or building/renovation projects. Capital gifts typically involve a single large donation or a multi-year commitment, offering donors the opportunity to name a space or project with a plaque in their name or in honor or memory of someone special.

Forman Early Learning Center

Hillel Academy is proud to have raised $2.8 million of our $3.6 million goal for the construction of the new Forman Early Learning Center. This state-of-the-art 6,500 sq. ft. facility, along with a 10,000 sq. ft. playground, lays the foundation for Jewish education starting as early as 1-year-old. Opened in 2021, the Forman Early Learning Center offers world-class, child-centered preschool education in Tampa, as well as mommy & me classes, summer camps, enrichment classes, and more. We continue to raise capital funds to support its ongoing development, with naming opportunities available to ensure the lasting impact of this groundbreaking initiative.

Forman Event Center

In April 2024, we proudly opened the Forman Event Center, a 6,000 sq. ft. indoor gym and event space. Made possible by the vision of philanthropists Seth and Hannah Forman, this new facility enhances our campus and expands program offerings, such as summer camps, indoor sporting events, and community gatherings. This space is vital to Hillel Academy’s long-term growth and sustainability. To date, we have raised $3.4 million of the $4.6 million goal to complete this project.

Your capital gift supports these transformative projects and ensures that Hillel Academy will continue to provide a high-quality, enriching educational experience for generations to come.
